- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This is not a request for proposal, and there is no solicitation package available at this time. Travis AFB, CA, is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses to provide the following: all services, including transportation, materials and equipment necessary for the maintenance, repair and service of Steris sterilizer equipment. The contractor shall perform these services in accordance with the terms of any resultant contract and in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). A contract is expected to be awarded for the Basic period and four (4) one year option periods. Potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. The information provided will be used for planning purposes only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7699, and the size standard is $7M. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a statement of current capability and past performance information. Sources must demonstrate technical experience on similar acquisitions, specifically addressing the requirements specified in this synopsis, and demonstrate the ability to obtain the resources necessary to successfully compete for this requirement. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and type and business size; (2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed five) to include names, points of contact, phone numbers, value and type of contract, period of performance, and brief description; (3) information telling us about your company and why you think you can perform this contract; (4) information describing works, tasks, and percentages proposed to be performed by you and subcontractors for this requirement. Interested business sources should provide the experience they have in performing this type of contract: management of this type of contract and experience in performing the requirements. Interested sources should provide this information within 10 days of publication of this notice. A letter of interest should also be included and address the following: (1) name and address of the firm; (2) size of business, including annual revenue for NAICS Code 811219 and annual revenue for entire business and total number of employees; (3) ownership; (4) year firm established; (5) names of two principals to contact, including title and telephone number; (6) previous experience. Please include pertinent information for on-going contracts or contracts completed within the last five years under NAICS Code 811219. Pertinent information is (a) Name of contracting activity; (b) Contract type (FFP, cost, IDIQ or combination); (c) Period of performance and total contract value; (d) Summary of contract work; (e) Contracting officer name and current telephone number; (h) List of major subcontractors including name, address, and telephone number of primary point of contact. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only. All information submitted is at the offeror's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of capability statements in connection with this market survey. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission or information gathered as a result of this notice. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon the responses received. Any information provided is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
