- The Federal Aviation Administration, Headquarters, Washington, DC, contemplates the procurement of Motorola MC70 products in support of the FAA Air/Ground Communications Program. The desired delivery is FOB: Destination. Address: Anywhere in the continental United States The requirements are as follows: PART NUMBER *DESCRIPTIONU/IQTYMC7090-PK0DJQFA8WRMC70 802.11abg, Img, 64/128 QWERTY, BT Ext Btry, WM5.0 EA30 CRD7X00-100RRMC70 Single Slot Cradle Kit with power supply and line cord. EA30 25-68596-01RUSB Communication Cable EA30 *Delivery/Period of Performance: 90 Calendar Days After Receipt of Order (DARO) The above acquisitions will be awarded in the aggregate under a single award based on the best value to the Government, price and delivery being of equal importance. The FAA intends to review all submittals to establish the acquisition strategy under this requirement. The responses will also be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) or other Small Businesses, or open it up for full and open competition. Based on this determination, the information obtained from this market survey may, or may not, result in a restricted Screening Process (Set-Aside) when evaluating the responses for consideration of an award under this acquisition. The NAICS Code under this acquisition has been established at 334119, Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing, with a Small Business Standard Size of 1000 employees. Firms shall complete and submit the attached Business Declaration form with their quote. Purpose of Announcement: To conduct a market survey of interested sources under this requirement. In order to receive an award from the FAA, regardless of dollar value, vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA). For registration procedures and information, please call 1-888-227-2423, or visit the Business Partner Network (BPN) at www.bpn.gov. The FAA reserve the right to select an appropriate award type based on a best value determination, to included GSA pricing. This determination does not require the FAA to award utilizing GSA pricing, but allows for consideration of award under this process. As such, all GSA quotes will need to be accompanied by a copy of the applicable GSA Schedule, or instructions where the Schedule may be obtained, to include price list. No questions will be entertained after this date. Interested vendors should submit to the Contracting Officer a statement of interest no later than 27 May 2009, 12:00 P.M. EST at: Kenneth.m.carter@faa.gov.No further screening information request (SIR) or other postings will be issued as a result of this announcement. As such, interested vendors are encouraged to submit their pricing and delivery at the same time as their statement of interest submission. The anticipated award date under this requirement is 30 June 2009. The FAA will assume no liability for cost incurred under this announcement. As such, it is up to the contractor's sole discretion in deciding whether or not to respond.
