Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties shall request a copy of the Statement of Work via e-mail to the attention of Michael Velez at michael.velez@usss.dhs.gov, Barbara Sauls at barbara.sauls@associates.usss.dhs.gov, and William Aumand at william.aumand@usss.dhs.gov. Solicitation Number 179684 is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. This action is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 611430 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. The contractor shall provide cell phone training services as described in the Statement of Work. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract. Line Item 0001: Curriculum Development. Line Item 0002: Curriculum Instruction (Option). Line Item 0003: Hardware and Software (Option). All proposals shall include a unit price for the stated quantity, as well as the total price. The following U.S. Secret Service Clause is applicable unless otherwise noted: Unauthorized Use of the U.S. Secret Service Name. Requests for copies of the provisions and/or clauses will not be accepted. Proposals must contain the following: 1) Technical approach to fulfilling the requirement; 2) Resume of proposed individual(s); 3) Unit pricing and total pricing for the line items; 4) Name of company, point of contact, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address; 5) Past performance references for the same or similar work within the last five years including the n ame of Government Agency/Company Client, two (2) individual points of contact and telephone number(s), address of client, contract/order number and dollar amount, description of services provided; and period of performance ; 6) Company business size and status; 7) Company tax identification number; 8) Company DUNS number; and 9) Company address. Please note: All offerors shall forward their proposals via e-mail to the attention of Michael Velez at michael.velez@usss.dhs.gov. Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 pm, local time, Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Please note: An award is anticipated within ten (10) days of receipt of proposals.
