- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Hardware Section (DITCO-PL8322), Scott AFB, IL, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Planning Systems Inc. (PSI), 12030 Sunrise Valley Dr., Suite 400, Reston VA 20191 for the acquisition of the next generation of Joint Precision AirDrop System (JPADS) Mission Support Equipment (MSE) and associated services and support. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), and regulatory authority is FAR Subpart 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capabilty to provide/perform within 15 days of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
