Description
FOR INFORMATION ONLY-AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT PROJECT The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Office (CGS) in Portland, Oregon has a requirement at the Regional Office in Portland, Oregon (Multnomah County) for temporary non-personal acquisition support services related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The purpose of the work is to support the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Contracting and General Services (CGS) primarily in the procurement of new construction, repair, maintenance, A&E services, and other professional services. Contracting methods and types include but are not limited to firm fixed-price contracts with base year and option periods, design-build construction contracts, Performance Based Acquisitions (PBA), purchase orders, task orders, and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. Our goal is to have experienced acquisition professionals available on an as needed basis to conduct all phases of Contract Specialist duties that are not considered to be inherently government functions. Per FAR 7.503 (12) all inherently governmental functions will be conducted by warranted U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Contracting Officers. A competitive solicitation (RFQ) will be issued via GSA Ebuy within 5 days. The intent is to award at least one task order with base and up to 4 option periods spanning 5 years from an existing GSA Schedule under SIN 874-6, Acquisition Management Support. The start date will be effective upon award and verification of background checks and associated administrative matters. A maximum of up to 7 experienced Contract Specialists will need to be available (on an as needed basis) to complete the duties described herein for the life of the awarded delivery order and all executed option periods. It is expected that these individuals will be needed full time through at least September, 2010.
