- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to rent 5 each 7-passenger SUV's (4 x 4), 8 each 6-passenger crew cab trucks (4 x 4), and 8 each 15-passenger vans (4 x 2) for use in San Diego, CA. A Blanket Purchase Agreement will be issued for the rental of these vehicles for a period not to exceed 5 years. The Government will allow for a reasonable price adjustment after the first year of rental and each proceeding year. All vehicles must be 2006 or newer. Make and models may vary. All vehicle rental pricing must include unlimited mileage. All vehicles must include valid license plates. The Government will not be responsible for obtaining license plates for vehicles. A Blanket Purchase Agreement allows for variation in quantities. The quantity of vehicles rented each month will vary. The Government will not be subject to early turn-in fees. Vendors will submit quotes to reflect daily, weekly, and monthly pricing, but will only be paid for actual usage. For the purposes of this BPA, the definition of 1 rental day is defined as ending 24 hours after pickup or delivery. All vehicles must come with a maintenance plan built into the price. The Government is not responsible for routine maintenance such as oil changes, etc. Vehicles will be picked up and delivered within 5 days of notification by the Government. The following provisions are hereby incorporated into this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commerical Items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations & Certifications - Commercial Items. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than May 15, 2009 before 1:00pm PST. Quotes may be submitted via fax to (805) 594-6348.
