Description

Initial offers must be received no later than May 22, 2009 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time at the address specified in the Offeror Submission Package. Only mailed proposals will be allowed; faxed and emailed proposals are prohibited. The Defense Energy Support Center is seeking potential sources to provide Aircraft/Ground Fuel Services at Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, New Jersey. Service is currently scheduled for a four-year base performance period from October 1, 2009 through September 31, 2013 with a four-year government option period from October 1, 2013 through September 31, 2017. NAES Lakehurst is an engineering test and evaluation center supporting aviation units worldwide. Units/aircraft deploy to and operate from NAES Lakehurst under various projects for which fuel support is provided. NAES Lakehurst also supports a small US Army helicopter unit, provides service to a contractor operated NAVAIR commuter passenger service, and services transient aircraft as may transit to and/or from NAES Lakehurst.
