- Project: Hand Tree Thinning & Slash Treatment - This project is located on the Ashland Ranger District and Sioux Ranger District of the Custer National Forest. This project consists of cutting undesirable Ponderosa Pine trees while selecting trees with desirable characteristics for release and treatment of slash. Additional slashing of storm damaged trees, including blow down and snapped off trees is required. Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment supervisiion, transportation, supplies, and incidentals to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. Government estimated price range is $100,000 - $250,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 4, 2009 and can be downloaded from this site that time. Two pre-bid tours will be held: June 22nd at the Sioux Ranger District and June 23rd at the Ashland Ranger District. Meeting place and time will be outlined in the solicitation.
