- PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY BEFORE RESPONDING TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. PRIME CONTRACTORS FAILING TO PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY INFORMATION WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE BIDDERS LIST. Prime Contractors must furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and services required to replace and install new Runway End Identifier Lights at McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas, NV. Criteria:Interested Bidders are required to submit three years of past performance with NAVAIDS experience and experience working on FAA airports when responding to this announcement. Past Performance must include a list of at least, the last five projects that were similar in size and scope to this project. Any past performance that is not included with the request will NOT be added to the bidders list. Any responses not received by the closing date of this announcement will NOT be added to the bidders list. Scope of the project is demolition of two existing Runway end identifier lights and installation of two new lights. Work is specific to FAA airport at McCarran International Airport. Work includes construction of concrete pads, ground counterpoise, duct work and pullboxes. Solicitations will be issued on or about the week of May 18, 2009. Prime contractor must perform 15% of the work. Vendors must have active registration with CCR before contract award can be made. Contractors can register at www.ccr.gov The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer for this requirement.
