Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation Number W911RZ-09-T-0200. Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for conference services at a mountain ski resort location near Breckenridge, CO. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110. This solicitation will end on 7 May 2009, 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Quotes received after this time shall not be considered. The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): 0001 Total Lodging _________ 0002 Total Food and Beverage Charges _________ 0003 Total Childcare Charges __________ CLIN 0004 Total Conference Room and Audio Visual___________ Total: __________ STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Lodging Requirements: 30 private rooms for families (60 adults and 60 children) for two nights, May 15 and 16, 2009. Lodging rooms shall have a queen sized bed or larger for the adults and additional beds for the children. The rooms shall have a private bathroom and television. The hotel shall be located within Summit County, Colorado and within one mile of shopping and recreational activities. All services in this statement of work shall be provided on site. The lodging shall include all resort/lodging fees, including parking for all participants. 2. Food and Beverage Buffet Requirements: All meals shall be served buffet style. Each buffet shall include at a minimum: two entres, two side dishes, one bread, one dessert and three beverage choices. Dinner buffets shall also include a salad. a. Breakfast Saturday and Sunday (0630 0730). b. Lunch Saturday April 18th (1130 1330). c. Dinner Friday and Saturday (1730 1830). d. Coffee, tea and water shall be provided for breaks on Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday during training times. 3. Conference Space: Two conference rooms are required. One large meeting room to accommodate 120 people and one room for the childcare as described in paragraph 4. The meeting room shall be furnished with tables and chairs (preferably seating 4) so families can eat together. Screens or blank walls that can be seen by everyone (for PowerPoint projection) is required in the room. Power outlets are also required. Conference room times are: Friday 1700 1945 Saturday 0630 1945 Sunday 0630 - 1000 4. Childcare: Childcare shall be provided in a separate conference room in close proximity to the meeting room. The contractor shall provide licensed childcare providers for 60 children. The room shall be conducive to setting up childrens activities. All activities and equipment shall be provided by the vendor. Childcare is needed on Friday 1830-1945, Saturday 1830-1945, and Sunday 0730-1000. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: price, capabilities, and past performance. The Government intends to evaluate offers and make award without discussions; however, this does not preclude the Government from having discussions if it is in the best interest of the Government to do so. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. A contractor can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or e-mail at http://www.ccr.gov. NO EXCEPTIONS. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register. All invoices shall be submitted through Wide Area Work Flow. You can register at https://wawf.ef.mil/index.html. All responses must be received by 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time on 7 May 2009.
