- Description
- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), (AJW-144) has a requirement for the re-design and manufacture of an RF Filter Amplifier (RFFA) in support of the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar program. This requirement is being competed on a full and open basis. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a stand-alone Firm Fixed Price type contract with one Cost Reimbursable, No Fee line item for travel. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Time, on 13 May 2009. Offers must be emailed to the Contracting Officer at mary.skaggs@faa.gov. Large electronic files should be zipped/compressed. If compression is not possible, files may be sent in separate emails to ensure delivery to the PCO. Please reference SIR DTFAAC-09-R-00312 in the subject line of your email. Offers received after this date will be determined to be late and will not be considered for award and will be filed with the official award file. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing via e-mail to: Mary.skaggs@faa.gov. Please reference SIR DTFAAC-09-R-00312. Any offeror lacking the ability to email offers may fax them to 405-954-9219. The cover page for any fax should identify the Contracting Officer as the recipient. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
