- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable.Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement to provide product and quality engineering, logistics, and manufacturing services, as well as spares and repairs in support of BRU-55A Bomb Racks. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1, ITT Defense, 165 Veterans Way, Suite 100, Warminster, PA 18974-9998. The services under this effort shall be performed in accordance with a Statement of Work, Specification, Contract Data Requirements List, as well as Technical Drawings. A 5-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for firm fixed price supplies, and cost plus fixed fee services is anticipated. Inspection will be made by DCMA at Origin, Acceptance will be at Destination. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to the Crane web site, FedBizOpps, and NECO. It is expected the solicitation is to be posted on or about 18 May 2009, to the NSWC Crane web ! site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. No hard copies will be provided. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The Government will consider all proposals received prior to the solicitation closing date. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
