Description
This is a Notice of Award of a task order number HHSN29200055 for "Building 10 Cell Processing Unit" under an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) to Northern Taiga Ventures, Inc. This task order will be awarded in accordance with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. THIS NOTICE IS TO PROVIDE FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR THAT WAS AWARDED THE MASTER IDIQ CONTRACT NUMBER HHSN292999900253I. This task order is to correct HVAC deficiencies and renovate areas within the Bldg. 10 Cell Processing Unit area per the drawings and specifications. Because this unit is a clean room environment, proper construction procedural protocols must be adhered. Construction and renovation of this Cell Processing Unit will be accomplished in multiple phases. The Cell Processing Unit is expected to remain in operation throughout the duration of construction. Temporary protection measures within this area are extremely important to maintain the clean room environment. Construction activities will require close coordination with the Government as some construction will impact areas not associated with the Cell Processing Unit. The Contractor shall prepare a Construction Quality Management and Safety Plan. A full time foreman shall be on-site at all times monitoring the progress, safety and quality of construction. All JACHO, Construction Risk Assessment (CRA) and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) shall be incorporated within the Northern Taiga Plan for work in Building 10. Utility shutdown notices shall be provided by NTVI a minimum of 15 working days in advance of the shutdown. Various procedures including Safety Clearances, Debris removal, Tele-communication / LAN removal & installation, Quality Control & Assurance Plans, Emergency contacts and List of Subcontractors, Submittal and RFI process, Construction Schedule and Schedule of Values, Safety Plan, Mobilization Plan will be discussed prior to start of construction.
