- Description The following project FA4479-09-R-0005 is being advertised as a synopsis for McChord AFB, WA Grounds Maintenance Services. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance services for McChord AFB, WA as described in the Performance Work Statement. This acquisition will be done in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items). The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract using Performance Price Trade-off Procedures. The basic period will be from 1 Oct 09 through 30 Sep 10 with the government's option to extend four subsequent years. The current applicable NAICS code is 561730. The small business size standard $7 Million. This acquisition will be restricted for HUBZone small business concerns. Solicitation FA4479-09-R-0005 will be issued on or about 15 May 09, and the anticipated response date is 15 Jun 09. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov). No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting customer service at 1-888-227-2423.
