- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for Low Noise Amplifiers and Fullband Orthomode Transducers (specific description below). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The announcement number is F1TBBB9105A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The requirement consists of the following items: 10 Low Noise Amplifiers 5 Fullband Orthomode Transducers Descriptions: Amplifiers - Ka-Band low noise amplifiers for use in breadboard developmental fuze radar, 46 dB of gain, +12 Vdc operating voltage, WR-28 waveguide input connector, 2.92 mm output connector Transducers - Ka-Band orthomode transducers, 0.315” circular input aperture for interfacing with circularly polarized antenna, minimum 32dB isolation between the horizontal and vertical polarization outputs ***Delivery shall be no later than 50 days ADC!!*** The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-31.
