- The Clinical Center (CC) of the National Institutes of Health is conducting a market survey to help determine the availability and technical capability if qualified Hubzone small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses and small businesses that are able to supply product. The applicable NAICS code is 339112-500 employees. Any firms who are small business manufacturers of the noted products are requested to identify themselves as such when responding to this market survey. All firms responding to this market survey must identify their firm's size and type of business (e.g. small business, service-disabled, HUBZone, 8(a), etc) and whether or not they are a manufacturer (as defined by FAR 19.102(f) (f) (1) (2) or a dealer or distributor of these kinds of products. This information will assist the Government in determining in accordance with FAR Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b) and (c) whether or not this procurement will be set aside for any of the programs described above. This market survey/sources sought announcement is not a request for proposals and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this market survey. The National Institutes of Health/ Department of Imaing Sciences/Interventional Radiology is interested in procuring a decontamination system is used to provide ultrasonic cleaning of blood, and human tissue from instruments. After cleaning the system provides chemical decontamination and rinse to render instruments safe for handling. Decontamination system should include the following: Windows based operate ring system, 19” processing chamber Automatic detergent injection Liquid chemical sterilant temperature control Chemical Germicide fume control outlet to HVAC connection Hand Spray Hard Drive /data base Water filtration assembly for tempered waterline only Charcoal filter addition of liquid chemical germicide fume control Customized narrow cabinet width to fit in 33 inch space Foot pedal operated lid control Factory installation and in service training program for maintenance, Bio medical and operation personnel Site preparation Operating and maintenance manuals Need high speed internet connection is required to accept periodic up grades to re configuration and perform system diagnostics this is an agreement between the Clinical Center and Vendor for inter net connection.
