- The Naval Air Systems Command is sponsoring an unclassified C-12 Contractor Logistics Support Pre-Solicitation Conference (Industry Day) on 13-14 May 2009. The purpose of the event is to provide a status update of the C-12 program, inform industry of program requirements, competition timeline, and to provide a Question & Answer/networking opportunity. The Government will schedule one-on-one discussions during this event, per request of potential Prime Contractor’s, along with their anticipated subcontractor team. Each discussion will be scheduled for ninety (90) minutes. The General Session will be held on 13 May 2009, at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Frank Knox Building 2189, Room 120, 21866 Cedar Point Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A site visit of the C-12 hanger at Patuxent River is planned for 13 May 2009. The one-on-one discussions will be held at the National Technologies Associates (NTA) Building, Room 113, 22738 Maple Road, Lexington Park, MD 20653 on 13 May 2009, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM and on 14 May 2009 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Please use the entrance at the back of the NTA building. The current contract has been posted and is available on the FOIA reading room, located at http://foia.navair.navy.mil/contract_search.html. The contract number is N00019-00-D-0272. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. Industry Day Registration: Registration will be conducted in advance; doors will open at 0830 EST, 13 May 2009. Attendees are required to identify their nationality and their positions within the company they represent. This is a no-fee event and seating is limited. Use the Registration Form posted at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitaions to request up to 5 attendees per CAGE code. Send Registration Form by 6 May 2009 to Maxine Birst at maxine.birst@navy.mil. Please cc: Valisa Harris at valisa.harris@navy.mil and Susan Leach at susan.leach@navy.mil when e-mailing. An e-mail confirmation will be sent upon receipt. Attendee substitution requests may be submitted to the same points of contact by 11 May 2009. Late registration and “walk-in” requests will not be permitted. Attendees must present a CURRENT photo ID (driver’s license, military ID, company ID or passport) matching the attendee information submitted via the Registration Form to gain entry into the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in.
