- Solicitation W912DS-09-T-0016. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the procurement of one (1) medium frame Skid Steel Loader with a two year full parts and labor warranty in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified under FAR Part 13. This solicitation number is a Request for Quote (RFQ), W912DS-09-T-0016; technical requirements for the medium frame Skid-Steer Loader are located within. The contractor shall provide and deliver the Skid Steer Loader and all attachments to the US Army Corps of Engineers, Albany Field Office, 1 Bond Street, Troy, NY, 12180. BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submits the lowest, responsive quotation, and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer. Quotations are due 08 May 2009 no later than 4:30 PM (Eastern Standard Time). Quotations will be submitted to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Room 1843, 26 Federal Plaza, New York, NY 10278. This procurement is being solicited as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The applicable NAICS code is 333120, Construction Machinery Manufacturing. The small business size is 750 employees. The SIC code is 3537 Industrial Trucks, Tractors, Trailers, and Stackers. The media selected for issuance of Synopsis/Solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project shall be the Internet. Paper copies of this solicitation and amendment, if any, will not be available or issued.
