Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Description: The PMC is a modular solid-state electronic device. The PMC uses analog computation to assist in the control of a gas turbofan engine fuel system. The fuel system consists of the PMC, a Main Engine control (MEC), and various sensors which transmit signals to both the PMC and MEC. The PMC interprets signals from the sensors and MEC and sends control signals to the MEC and airplane cockpit. Function: PMC is an electronic over-ride on the hydro-mechanical MEC, which sets fan corrected speed as a function of the power lever angle (PLA). The same PLA will always provide the same percentage of the rated thrust available at a given flight condition. The PMC also provides protection against excessive fan and core speed, and reduces transient EGT overshoot.Delivery: Item 0001: 8 EA 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets. Item 0002: Basic Year is 3 EA 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets; All Option Years are 2 EA 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets.
