- This amendment is issued to change the following information. FROM: This is a notice that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a FFP TT&E and repair requirements type contract with a basic year and four (4) option years. TO: This is a notice that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a FFP repair requirements type contract with a basic year and four (4) option years. ******************************************************************* Original posting information. This is a notice that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a FFP TT&E and repair requirements type contract with a basic year and four (4) option years. This acquisition is for the repair of the above Radiac Meters and Radiological Assessment Kits. The Radiac Meters are portable, battery-operated radiation survey meters capable of measuring Alpha, Beta, Gamma and X-Ray radiation. The Radiological Assessment Kits are battery operated, self diagnostic, multiple functional instruments used to locate and measure low and high intensity radioactivity in the form of gamma rays or beta particles, or used with external probes to locate and measure alpha, beta, gamma, x-ray and neutron radiation. Assets will be shipped FOB Origin with destinations TBD. Delivery is 45 days ARO asset. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to Canberra Industries Inc Authority of 6.302-1, Justification: Supplies or Services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Technical data is not available for this acquisition. The following Numbered Note applies: 22. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
