Description

This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the Light Vehicles Automotive Program. This delivery order is for the purchase of Alternative Fuel Vehicles. In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the Government posts this notice stating the issuance of a delivery order made against an established General Services Administration's, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price Contract numbers GS-30F-R0005 and GS-30F-R0006 in the total amount of $77,049,971.00 to both General Motors and Ford Motor Company for the procurement of 3,100 Hybrid Vehicles for Federal Agencies using the Recovery Act funds. GSA is a mandatory source for all new non-tactical light vehicles for executive agencies governed by the 42 Federal Property Management Regulation (FPMR) 101-26.501-1. The purchased vehicles were as follows: Item: Chevrolet Malibu Contract No: GS-30F-R0006 Qty: 1150 Unit: $23,432.00 Total: $26,946,800.00 Item: Saturn Vues Contract No: GS-30F-R0005 Qty: 50 Unit: $25,048.00 Total: $1,252,400.00 Item: Ford Fusions Contract No: GS-30F-R0006 Qty: 900 Unit: $26,067.09 Total: $23,460,381.00 Item: Ford Escapes Contract No: GS-30F-R0006 Qty: 1000 Unit: $25,390.39 Total: $25,390,390.00 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.
