Description
1.0BACKGROUND The National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL’s) Hydrogen Technologies and Systems Center (HTSC) undertakes a wide range of research, analysis, and education activities to support the implementation of hydrogen as an alternative fuel. In particular, HTSC supports hydrogen and fuel cell research and development efforts at NREL, focusing on hydrogen production and delivery, hydrogen storage, fuel cells, technology validation, safety, codes and standards, analysis, and education outreach activities. To present these findings, HTSC develops a variety of publications, reports, on-line resources, training materials, and presentations as well as submitting proposals for future work. 2.0OBJECTIVE NREL seeks to establish a Task Ordering Agreement to provide technical writing and technical service support for reports and activities on an as-needed basis. The support provided is to be based on excellent technical writing and service skills and broad knowledge of hydrogen technologies. The successful subcontractor shall help develop outreach and analysis reports and assist with other activities as requested. Materials may target government, policy makers, consumers, educators, and industry. 3.0SCOPE OF WORK Projects assigned may support any of several tasks within HTSC. Individual activities will be assigned through Task Orders at the discretion of the Task Ordering Agreement (TOA) Technical Monitor (TM). 4.0TASKS The tasks to be accomplished shall be specified and defined in each of the individual task orders as determined by the NREL technical monitor. The tasks may include, but are not limited to: 4.1Developing draft reports based on NREL analysis, research and analysis from other organizations, independent research, and other materials. 4.2Developing user guides for models created by NREL for analyzing the development and deployment of hydrogen fuel infrastructure. 4.3 Assisting NREL in the development of proposals. 4.4 Assisting NREL in development of outreach materials designed to educate on issues related to hydrogen and hydrogen infrastructure. 4.5Developing content for web site pages. 4.6Editing of documents as requested.
