- See Attached BAA-0001-09 The DLA/DCSO is soliciting proposals to establish a long-term contract for providing research and development (R&D) solutions under the Research and Development for DLA Supply Support (RDSS). The scope of this contract will focus on definition of R&D solution ideas, performance, and management of R&D Projects referred to as Short Term Projects (STPs). The RDSS program has been in existence since FY00, first as the Aging Aircraft program, then the Aging Systems program, and now the RDSS program. It is part of DLA’s Logistics R&D Advanced Development program. The mission of the RDSS program is to provide tools and methods to help DLA personnel improve delivery of parts and services to our customers. The mission is accomplished through sharply-focused STPs. See attached for program and submittal requirements.
