Description
Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic,Charleston, intends to negotiate a contract for the procurement of a ModularLightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) Mounting Platform, which is anassembly. The purpose of the MOLLE Mounting Platform is to safely andsecurely attach the QuietPro Headset manufactured by Nacre (part number K-S1001), Norway to the USMC MOLLE Gear. The headset is used in conjunctionwith the USMC Integrated Intra-Squad Radio (IISR). The Government intends to issue this solicitation as a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price solicitation under FAR Part 13.5 as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Allresponsible sources meeting the Government's requirement are invited tosubmit a proposal which will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332995 andthe size standard is 500 employees. Interested parties may submit comments in writing to contract specialist, MattDellinger, Code 2.2.5.3.0MD, telephone (843) 218-4280 or via e-mail tovincent.dellinger@navy.mil, no later than 28 April 2009.
