- The 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen AFB Guam intends to award a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for a 40’ High Cube Steel Storage Container. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F1C0CR9093A005 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS in accordance with FAR Part 19. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332311, size standard 500 employees. The contractor shall provide the following supplies: 40’ High Cube Steel Storage Container with Roof Paint/Elastomeric, Typhoon Footing and Tie-Down Set, Mobilization (delivery and Set-up) QTY= 1 EA. All specs may be met by an “or equals product”, although we will require documentation on how the “or equals” product meets or exceeds the given brands specifications. This is a request for quotations only and in no way intends any binding contractual results. We would request you to provide commercial shipping directly to Guam. Discussions may or may not be held with offeror; therefore, the initial proposal of each offeror should be complete and accurate. Offerors must provide warranty information specific to all equipment as well as provide all materials, labor, and transportation necessary to provide this supply. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government.
