Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Information received will be used to determine the availability of technically capable and otherwise responsible firms that would be interested in submitting offers for this anticipated solicitation. The General Services Administration, Region 8, Colorado Service Center, is conducting a market survey and is seeking sources for Design-Build services. The requirements for this opportunity is to modernize a 25-year old federal office building by 1) replacing the building skin, including windows, 2)replacing the parking structure, 3)upgrading the mechanical system, plumbing, elevator, lighting and controls, 4) lobby upgrades 5) upgrading interior and exterior finishes. The Design-Build portion must be accomplished by qualified, experienced, professional general contracting firms. These GC firms must have extensive prior design-build experience. They must be capable of self-performing or supervising curtain wall construction, commerical glazing, cast-in-place concrete, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, vertical transprtation upgrades, and interior and exterior finish work. The GC must have bonding ability up to $25million.
