- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation in PDF format. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (g) and with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is: OPM049-09-Q-0030 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32 dated March 31, 2009. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110, and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. This procurement is unrestricted, allowing both large and small business to submit quotations. The Center for Talent Services (CTS) Training and Management Assistance (TMA) group has a need for a facility in Washington, DC to host a one-day conference for approximately 200-225 participants. The selected facility will be required to provide overnight accommodations, meeting space, audiovisual equipment, and meals in support of the one-day Contractor Training Conference. It is preferred that this conference takes place on a Wednesday or Thursday and will be from 7:00AM – 8:00 PM. The preferred dates, in order of preference, for the event are: May 7th, May 13th, May 14th, May 20th, or May 21st. OPM intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for this requirement to the offeror that represents the best value to the government. The period of performance is from date of award through May 22, 2009. Offerors are invited to submit their quotations to the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Contracting Group in response to this notice by 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), April 24, 2009. Only e-mailed requests for additional information will be accepted at john.dismond@opm.gov through 12:00 PM, EST, April 22, 2009. Communications with other officials may compromise the competitiveness of this acquisition and result in the cancellation of the requirement. Quotations submitted in response to this notice shall include the solicitation number in the subject line and be signed, dated and submitted via email to john.dismond@opm.gov. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and not registered in the VETS-100 database at the time the requirement is to be awarded will not be considered.
