- Solicitation W81XWH-09-T-0209 has been posted on the ASFI website. This requirement is for the construction of 5 Stainless Steel Swine cages using existing caging materials to be provided by the customer. Caging materials are currently stored nearby on Fort Sam Houston. This requirement has been set aside 100 percent for Small Business. Proposals must be received by 3PM Eastern Time on Wednesday 29 April 2009. Offerors are advised to transmit their proposals well in advance of the final hour so that their proposals will arrivde before the closing time. Offerors are encouraged to upload their proposals on the ASFI Website. However, if this is not possible, offerors may transmit their proposals via e-mail to the Contract Specialist (Mark Clinger) at mark.clinger@amedd.army.mil. Proposals may be transmitted by FAX to 301-619-3494, however, the Contract Specialist should be notified in advance. Please note that the deadline for questions is 3PM Eastern Time on Tuesday 21 April 2009. Any questions regarding this Solicitation should be directed to the Contract Specialist via e-mail. Answers to questions will be furnished to all vendors via Amendment to this Solicitation. Telephonic inquiries regarding this Solicitation will not be accepted. Offerors are highly encouraged to carefully read the Solicitation document and furnish all information that is called for.
