Description
This contract is intended to provide for restoration and alteration construction project requirements in a cost-effective manner. The contractor will be required to perform Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) task orders within the full scope of work needed to support the construction program which includes, but is not limited to, design/build, repair and alterations work of construction, mechanical, structural, geotechnical, electrical, fire suppression, security systems, i.e. building repairs, moving of modular units, fences and gates, fuel tanks, parking lots, paving, construction access roads, area/spot lighting, high and low voltage electrical distribution, electronics/sensor towers, horse stables and barns, motion detection systems, locks, water lines etc., general site work, and other construction work. The contractor will also be required to perform ancillary tasks such as movement and temporary storage of equipment and furniture. Some Architect-Engineering Services related to construction may be required. A Professional Engineering seal shall be provided on that work. This SATOC will primarily be utilized to support the Blaine Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sector but may also be utilized by a geographically adjacent CBP Sector (Spokane). The Blaine Sector covers the states of Alaska, Oregon, and the western half of the State of Washington. The SATOC may also be utilized by USACE to fulfill repair and alteration requirements not related to the CBP provided the requirement is within the contract scope and geographical area.
