- NOTICE OF INTENT: Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) intends toaward asole-source requirements-type contract to International Business MachinesCorporation (IBM), 6710 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MA 20817, for aperformanceperiod of one (1) year. Authority for other than full and open competitionis41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and NoOtherSupplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The resultingprocurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. Therequirementis for Maximo Enterprise Annual Maintenance Agreement, including 24-hourtelephone application support, 24-hour e-mail application support,applicationupgrades and patches, on-line knowledge base, support lab for problemresolution, periodic patches, maintenance releases and upgrades to generalreleases, and technical bulletins. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVEPROPOSALS.
