Description
In accordance with the Agreement of Defense and Cooperation between the Kingdom of Spain and the United States of America, any contract resulting from this notice/solicitation can only be entered into with companies authorized to carry out these activities in Spain under Spanish law. Companies must meet the requirements established by Spanish legislation for execution of Government works. Obtaining a license or permission to operate your company in Spain may be a long process; therefore, any company anticipating interest in future projects should immediately begin the processes that will be required, by contacting the Delegation of Industry. They have two offices, one in the Madrid province and one in the Andalucia province. The telephone numbers are: 011 34 91 580-2100 (Madrid) and 011 34 95 504-8620 for Andalucia. The United States Air Force intends to solicit proposals (FA5575-09-R-0005) for Firm-Fixed Price contract for the Repair Swimmer's Bath House and Repair of Bath House in Moron AB, Spain. The complete solicitation package will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity website for download on or after 23 April 09. The contract will consist of a period of performance of 240 calendar days. Contract magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 U.S. dollars. The successful contractor will be selected using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable with acceptable Past Performance resulting in the best value to the government. SCOPE OF WORK: The work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Basic Package Architectural Work: Building #313: a. Remove doors, windows, cabinets and various wood elements. b. Demolish tilework, pavements and baseboards. c. Demolish interior partitions and exterior brick enclosure. d. Demolish interior concrete pavements. e. Demolish roof system and various metallic elements. f. Chip off paint on pillars and projections. g. Treat separate and transport materials from demolition work to an authorized disposal site. h. Perform earthwork operations and compaction for ramp and drainage system. i. Provide materials and install line, manhole and drainage headwall. j. Provide and compact graded crushed aggregate. k. Provide and place in situ concrete for interior and exterior pavement. l. Provide and place concrete for ramp and sidewalks. m. Provide materials and construct enclosure with lean clay n. Provide materials and construct interior brick partitions. o. Provide materials and perform cement mortar plasterwork. p. Provide materials and tilework for walls and accessories. q. Provide materials and place pavement, baseboards and special pieces. r. Supply materials and construct stairs and partition supports. s. Provide and install plasterboard drop ceiling and accessories. t. Provide and install sills and prefabricated concrete gutter diffusers. u. Repair projections and cornices with epoxide mortar. v. Provide and install beams and supports for roof between buildings and decorative truss. x. Provide and install aluminum windows. y. Provide and install aluminum doors. z. Provide and install steel louver door. aa. Provide and install wood doors. ab. Provide and install wood trim. ac. Provide and install cabins and and phenolic panel separators. ad. Provide and install aluminum louver drop ceiling and accessories. ae. Provide and install handrails for ramp. af. Provide and intsall roof system and accessories. ag. Provide and install gutters and rainwater drainage pipes. ah. Provide materials and construction joint seals for doors and windows. ai. Provide materials and paint cement and plaster vertical and horizontal walls. aj. Provide materials and paint steel elements. ak. Provide and perform venetian stucco finish. al. Supply and install exterior sewer system. f. Supply and install interior sewer and vent systems. g. Supply and install plumbing system. h. Supply and install plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories. i. Supply and install exhaust and fresh air intake systems. j. Start up, tests and adjustments of all the systems installed. k. Repair elements affected by the execution of the project. Building #315: a. Demolish exterior sewage and water system. b. Demolish interior sewage and vent system. c. Demolish domestic hot water production system. d. Demolish interior plumbing system, plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories. e. Demolition and disposal of above ground fuel tank. f. Demolition and disposal of asbestos containing materials. g. Supply and install exterior sewer system. h. Supply and install exterior water system. i. Supply and install interior sewer and vent systems. j. Supply and install domestic hot water production and plumbing systems. k. Supply and install plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories. l. Supply and install exhaust system. m. Start up, tests and adjustments of all the systems installed. n. Repair elements affected by the execution of the project. Electrical Work: Building #313: a. Demolish existing installation. b. Provide and install electric power supply line. c. Provide and install LP1 panelboard. d. Provide and install conduits and electrical lines. e. Provide and install toggle switch and receptacles. f. Provide and install light fixtures. g. Reinstall existing loudspeakers system. h. Reinstall existing floodlights. Building #315: a. Demolish existing installation. b. Provide and install electric power supply line. c. Provide and install MDP panelboard. d. Provide and install LP2 panelboard. e. Provide and install Pumps panelboard. f. Provide and install conduits and electrical lines. g. Provide and install toggle switch and receptacles. h. Provide and install light fixtures. i. Provide and install phone panelboard. j. Provide and install phone outlets. k. Final tests. Final Cleaning of the Installations. Delivery of As-Built drawings. A proposal must be submitted for the basic package which may be awarded at a later date as funding becomes available. In order to be awarded a contract by the U.S. Government, the company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR), contracts cannot be awarded to unregistered contractors. Registration can be made on line at www.ccr.gov NOTE: You must have a DUNS number and a NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) Code to register.
