Description
Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, material, equipment and supervision necessary to design and construct the removal/abandonment and replacement of Underground Storage Tanks (UST's) in accordance with EPA 2009 requirements, drawings and specifications at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, Bay Pines, FL. The design of this project shall include but not limited to the following items: Contractor shall design a complete project necessary to perform the removal/abandonment and replacement of UST #4, a 4,000 gallon gasoline tank; UST #5 a 4,000 gallon #2 Fuel Oil Tank; UST #6 a 4,000 gallon #2 Fuel Oil Tank and UST #20 a 4,000 gallon #2 Fuel Oil Tank. The Contractor will be required to retain an external Certified Independent Third-Party Safety Professional or Professional Credential (CITP) consultant for the design of the above project. The Certified Independent Third-Party Safety Professional or Professional Credential (CITP) consultant will review the design of the above project to verify compliance with the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) codes, State and local building codes, EPA, OSHA, and Life Safety Codes. The estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The contract duration is 210 calendar days. The estimated award date of the contract is June 2009. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237120, which has a size standard of $33.5M in annual average receipts over the past three years. The project is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
