- J&A 6.302-1 c: F4AB009076A003 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- The 325th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to L-3 Services Inc. for the purchase of a 450kV Super Flash X-ray System. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. The justification for this procurement is the analysis and forensics during ballistic and fragmentation experiments. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 16 Apr 09. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31 effective 19 Mar, 2009 and DFARS Change Notice 20080124, North American Industry Classification System Code 334517 and size standard of 500 apply to this procurement.
