- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3909071A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32 dated 3-31-09, Defense DCN 20090115 dated 1-15-2009, and AFAC 2008-0318 dated 3-18-09. This acquisition will be unrestricted ; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423690. The business size standard is 100 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6145. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5065 This request for quotation consists of : Two each 140 foot and two each 95 foot 300A cables and motorized reel assembly for use in rafter application. Reels include cable guide, guide rails, four roller guides, limit switch, motor control box, separate junction box prewired to the controls. Includes push button station and 400HZ AC power cable installation on reel. CLIN 0001: 2 AY, 400HZ Power Cable Motorized Reel Assembly for use in Rafter Application will hold up to 140 feet of 300 AMP cable. CLIN 0002: 2 AY, 400HZ Power Cable Motorized Reel Assembly for use in Rafter Application will hold up to 95 feet of 300 AMP cable Award will be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Price, 2. Technical acceptability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement.
