- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire maintenance services for their Robotic Pharmacy Systems located at the National Naval Medical Center Bethesda and its two branch clinics at Dalghren and Willow Grove, PA. This is a sole source action to be awarded as a contract to Parata Systems LLC, Durham, NC. Parata is the only contractor that can provide these services and no other entity is authorized to service the system without risk of voiding warranty arrangements already in place on the robotic pharmacy systems. This contract is a follow-on to contract# N00189-07-C-Z007. FISC's intent is to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 12 (Commercial Items) and FAR 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) procedures. The Period of Performance is from 01 October 2009 through 30 September 2010 with four one-year options. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.501(a).
