Solicitation Number: Q8132090030Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This request is being issued as Request for Quotation Q8132090030. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions enclosed within are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-29. FAR clauses and provisions are available through Internet access at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is 100% set aside for small business and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 324121. The Government anticipates making a single award for this solicitation, vendors must quote on all items for their quote to be considered. The following is a description of the requirements for this acquisition. THE MANUFACTURING, FURNISHING AND THE DELIVERY OF HOT ASPHALT CONCRETE MIX. THE HOT ASPHALT MIX DESIGN MUST MEET CALTRANS 2006 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS OF SECTION 39. THE AGGREGATE GRADATION WILL MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS OF 3/8 INCH MAXIMUM IN SECTION 39 (2.02). DELIVERY OF THE ASPHALT MIX WILL BE TO TWO (2) LOCATIONS IN DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK, INYO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. Delivery to start within two weeks of award, or by arrangement by Ainsley Holeso, Roads and Trails Foreman. ITEM #ITEM DESCRIPTIONQUANTITY & UNIT MEASURE__UNITPRICEAMOUNTOF BID____ BASE BID TEMS: 1.3/8 Inch Hot Asphalt Concrete Mix Delivered to Beatty Cutoff Road (Located 14 Miles North of Furnace Creek). 1,200 Tons @$. $. 2.3/8 Inch Hot Asphalt Concrete Mix Delivered to Texas Springs Campground (Located within theFurnace Creek Area). 2,520 Tons @$. $. TOTAL BID$. Quantities for unit price bid items are estimated. Payment will be made only for actual quantities delivered. Quotors/Bidders must review and comply with the FAR Provisions or Clauses that apply to this solicitation. This information is available on the Internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The following clauses or provisions are specifically referenced and are required in the response to this solicitation: 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS; 52.212-2, EVALUATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS - Evaluation factors include [a] price; [b] past performance supported by documentation and three references.
