On occasion we may have a 1:30 p.m. route, what is the expected time of completion for this route? - Between 3:00 pm. and 4:00 pm. 3. If we do have the 1:30 p.m. route, can we expect to have all 10 Capitol Hill deliveries or could it be a variation? - Mostly a variation of 1 or 2 places. In the past 2 years we have only had 1 trip to all ten locations. 4. When doing either route, if we have any of the local MD. Delivery locations, do you want those delivered prior to the Capitol Hill deliveries? – Not unless we specifically tell you this is a rush job. Do what ever makes sense. 5. With our experience in going to Capitol Hill, packages can not be sealed, they must be in open envelopes or packages. Is this your understanding as well? – No, we never had a problem delivering sealed packages. 6. It is our understanding that Capitol Hill closes for deliveries at 5pm. Is this accurate? – Yes. We always ask for delivery before 5pm. 7. Any past contracts awarded for this? Amount? List of Vendors List interested in this? – The incumbent is Falcon Express Transportation 8. Can my guy park our vehicle on-site. He would drive to the facility in the morning at 9 am in his car, park his car in the facility parking lot, reports with the mailroom or proper starting point for the day, gets packages, and loads them into our vehicle that is parked on-site? – Yes, He could park at the loading dock which is close to the mailroom. 9. Realistically, how many PM deliveries do you think you'll need in a month? - One or two or maybe nothing for a particular month. 10. Is a SECRET clearance required or just a thorough background check/drug testing? - Even if they currently have clearance from another agency we still required them to go through the NRC clearance process through the FBI. 11. How soon do you expect to award this? – As soon as 17 April 2009. 12. How many trips per day are required? - There will be one multi-stop trip per day guaranteed. Anything over that may happen 20 to 30 times a year on an adhoc basis where we would give 90 minutes notice as described in the SOW. 13. Is there economic adjustment for gasoline included in this contract? - No 14. Does my company need to have a surety bond for this? If so how much? – We never required a surety bond in the past.
