Description
Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to clean and reseal coat gymnasium basketball court wall to wall and apply a highly protective coating to Bldg 251 located at TRACEN Petaluma, CA as per attached scope of work and any and all terms and conditions set forth. A site visit is scheduled for 23 March 2009 at 9:00AM. Attendance is highly encouraged and recommended. Please DO NOT email bids. ****************************************************************************************************************** ***CHANGE*** Please note the following changes to the Scope of Work Due to the above mentioned changed to the Scope of Work the bid close date has been moved to 08 Apr 09. INTENT The intent of this task is to clean and reseal coat Gymnasium basketball court wall to wall and apply a highly protective coating. 1.02 SCOPE OF WORK THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL LABOR, MATERIAL, AND EQUIPMENT TO PERFORM THIS TASK AS SHOWN ON THE SPECIFICATIONS. WORK SHALL INCLUDE BUT IS NOT NECESSARILY LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING TASKS: 1.Area shall be properly ventilated and protected from dust blowing into other areas of the building 2.Machine prepare gymnasium floor 75’x 105’ for refinish wood surface. 3.Clean with power vacuum and proceed immediately with finish 4.Apply Two (2) coats of low waterborne VOC polyurethane floor coating, gloss finish. Recommend using Bona X – Premium 2 component Super Sport Finish 5.Allow each coat time to dry using manufacturer’s specifications before applying next coat 6.After the final coat of finish has fully dried, machine buff all affected floor areas with steel wool. 7.Clean Up - All areas of construction shall be kept clear of debris on a daily basis. At the completion of the project all construction areas will be returned to original condition.
