- ***** MODIFICATION TO SQUARE FOOTAGE, LEASE TERM AND OCCUPANCY DATE**** X - UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE IN ST. PETERSBURG, FL The United States Government seeks to lease class “A” office space in a professional office setting. The offered space must consist of a total of 41,387 rentable square feet approximately, and the space should yield 35,989 ANSI/BOMA useable square feet. The proposed space must be offered on two floors with 19,007 contiguous useable square feet on the first floor; and 16,982 contiguous useable square feet on the second floor. A total of 185 parking spaces are required. If on-site parking is not available, secure vehicle parking facilities must be available at reasonable commercial rates for visitors and employees within a two block radius of the space; and parking for the disabled must be located within the same block as the proposed office space. Where public transportation is available, passenger stops must be no further than two blocks from the space offered. The proposed lease is for fifteen (15) years, ten (10) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than September 1, 2010.. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area of the City of St. Petersburg, FL. North 38th Avenue South: 1st. Avenue East: 4th Street West: 34th Street In addition to the above requirements, the following requirements apply. •The offered space should not be located within close proximity to railroad tracks. •The offered space should not be located within ˝ mile of electrical sub-stations. •Offered space shall not be located more that the equivalent of two city blocks from a primary or secondary street. •Offered space shall not be located in industrial or warehouse areas.
