Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE EXISTING IDIQ ROOFING CONTRACT. REPAIR ROOF - MUNS Bldg 88240, SECTIONS A, D & E. Performance period shall be 270 calendar days. 4. Principle items of work are described as follows: a. Remove existing BUR (Built Up Roof), gravel, insulation and flashing down to the deck on areas A, D & E. Areas A & E have a metal deck. Area D has a structural concrete deck. Remove gutters, downspouts and fascia metal. b. Attach or remove wood blocking as necessary to match new insulation thickness. c. Install 3" of flat polyisocyanurate insulation. Fasten insulation to deck in accordance with manufacturer's requirements. d. Install fully-adhered 60 mil EPDM roof system including manufacturer-furnished attachment, cover strips, adhesives, seams, edge and accessories. Install membrane on parapet walls and under coping. Provide 20 yr manufacturer's system warranty. e. Re-install existing counter flashing. Install new Kynar-finished steel gravel stop, fascia, coping, gutters and downspouts. f. Flash membrane around all ventilators, hoods, stacks and penetrations in accordance with membrane manufacturer's recommendations. g. Remove/replace/attach existing lightning protection system to new EPDM roof system in accordance with roof manufacturer's recommendations. Project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000
