Description

The United States Coast Guard, MLC Atlantic intends to issue a purchase order to Allied Systems Co for One (1) EA Valve, P/N: 237425 One (1) EA Winch, CT (Certified) P/N: 42323, One (1) EA, Cartridge, P/N: 230404. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Allied Systems Company is the only company that has the technical propriety data necessary to manufacturer the required parts. This requirement is being solicited under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR Subpart 6.302-1. Allied Systems Co is the only company that has the technical propriety data necessary to assemble the required parts for the davit cranes installed on the 175 foot Cutter. The requirement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all information received within 5 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A Determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For information concerning the acquisition, contact Mr. Douglas G.
