Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GSA schedule GSA/FSS Group 736 - Temporary Administrative and Professional Staffing (TAPS). In anticipation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the subject project was competed among contractors under GSA schedule GSA/FSS Group 736 - Temporary Administrative and Professional Staffing (TAPS). Responses have been received from selected contractors and a contract will be awarded to the successful offeror for the provision of one temporary contract employee. Project Description: Currently, the Smithsonian Office of Contracting and Personal Property Management (OCon & PPM) is in receipt of funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Act). These funds are to be used on a series of projects throughout the Smithsonian. In order to utilize the recovery funds in the manner as directed by the Act, OCon & PPM is in need of the services of a temporary contract staff member to help coordinate the projects and implement the requirements of the Act. The Smithsonian has contacted and received replies from several staffing agencies under the GSA federal Supply Schedule and is prepared to award one contract to the successful offeror for the provision of one temporary contract employee. The Contract duration is 12 months The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 561320, and the annual size standard is 5,000,000.00. The estimated price range of this requirement is between $119,000.00 and $135,000.00. It is the Smithsonian's intent to award a Delivery Order under Contract under GSA Federal Supply Schedule
