- Statement of Work Vendor Price Table Makani Pahili Exercise Layout Contracting Office Address Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, 1111 Broadway, Suite 1200, Oakland, CALIFORNIA, 94607-4052, UNITED STATES Description THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. ***This solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.*** ***This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18.*** *** The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $7.0M.*** *** The Federal Emergency Management Agency has a requirement for a facility than can provide the necessary services for a functional exercise to be held in the Downtown area in Honolulu, HI on May 31- June 5, 2009.*** ***All interested Contractors shall provide a quote for the following: Dates: May 31-June 5, 2009 Times: May 31-June 1, 2009 (Sunday/Monday) 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m June 2-4, 2009 (Tuesday-Thursday) 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. June 5, 2009 (Friday) 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Detailed Requirements: Space for Registration on Tuesday, June 2nd from 7:00-8:30 a.m. Provide registration space (set up by 7:00 a.m.) as follows: •Two 5 ft. long tables with 4 chairs shall be provided outside the main meeting room to serve as a Registration Desk •Area large enough to accommodate 175 guests arriving for registration. Meeting Rooms for May 31-June 5, 2009 Main Meeting Room •Main meeting space of at least 6,000 sq. ft. shall be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 31- June 1, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 2-4, 2009 and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 5 2009. •Provide table seating to hold 175 individuals for May 31-June 5, 2009 per the attached drawing. •Provide 50 chairs on the back wall of the room for guests/observers. Breakout Rooms •Two separate breakout rooms of at least 1000 sq. ft each are required. One shall be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 31- June 1, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 2-4, 2009 and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 5 2009. The other shall be available on 2-4 June 2009 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. •The general meeting room cannot be used as the breakout rooms. •Rooms are preferably in close proximity to the main meeting room. Audio Visual Equipment Note: All A/V equipment should be fully tested and fully operational by 5:00 pm, June 1, 2009. Rental will include hotel staff set-up and take down (when take down is appropriate). Cords and cables must be taped to the floor with gaffer tape or other suitable covering in all foot-traffic areas.
