- This is a market survey to locate additional supply sources for three items produced by Marathon Electric Manufacturing, CAGE 31851. The items are two Alternators: NSN 6115-01-383-3124, PN 88-21005; 6115-01-434-1432, PN 88-21006; and Rotor Assembly, NSN 6115-01-467-5850, PN 88-21612. The alternators are used in the 15 kW MEP-804A 50-60 Hz and MEP-814A 400 Hz Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG) Sets, and the rotor assembly is part of the MEP-806A, 60 kW, 50-60 Hz, Gen Set. This acquisition is for a 5 year IDIQ flexible long-term contract with quantities ranging from 33 to 356 for PN 88-21005, quantities of 6 to72 for PN 88-21006, and quantities of 5 to 15 for PN 88-21612 for each year. The government shall not provide cores. Limited technical data is available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, estimated unit pricing for each year, ranges for price breaks if applicable, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, or a statement from a listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with these items from the supplier list above. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
