- The Department of Commerce, National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration Eastern Region Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request of Quotations (RFQ) for a firm, fixed price purchase order for elevator maintenance for the National marine Fisheries Service, Northeast Fisheries Science Center, 116 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13. The RFQ will be issued on or about March 26, 2009 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number will be EA133F-09-RQ-0417; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The performance period will be one year with a start date on or about June 1, 2009 or date of award, whichever is later, through May 31, 2010, with options to extend performance for an additional three years. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov, and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. The FSC for this is 3960 and the NAICS Code is 238290 or 238990, small business size standard is $14.0 million. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned.
