Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Qiagen, Inc., 27220 Turnberry Lane, Suite 200, Valencia, CA 91355-1005, for the following line items. The equipment to be ordered is as follows: 1) QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit 250 (30 each); 2) QIAamp DNA Mini Kit 250 (2 each); 3) QIAamp DNA Blood Mini Kit 250 (15 each); 4) Collection Tubes 2-ml (8 each); and 5) Buffer AVE + Azid 108 x (2/2), KG (10 each). CDC believes that this requirement can best be provided by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business.
