Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has a requirement to support the development, revision and maintenance of courseware for the Surface Warfare Officers School Command (SWOS) located in Newport, RI. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements or Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is contemplated. The total duration of this contract has not yet been determined. Surface Warfare Officer School (SWOS) is the Navy’s only Surface Officer indepth Training Facility. The training audience includes Division Officer, Department Head, Prospective Executive (XO) and Commanding Officers (CO), Major Command Senior Officers and foreign Naval Surface Officers. SWOS is responsible for the training of these officers presented as instructor lead training (ILT) as well as computer based training (CBT) and various degrees of simulators. Training topic areas consist of the SWOS Division Officer Training Guide, Operational, Readiness, Training, and Evaluation (ORT&E), Prospective XO/CO Fleet up Training, Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) training, Chief Engineer Officer courses, Navigator Officer courses, Combat System Officer courses, Operations Officer courses, and First Lieutenant courses. Businesses capable of accomplishing the required services are invited to submit literature, brochures, and capability summaries identifying, at a minimum, business size and past (limit to within 3 years) and/or current performance on similar contracts (include dollar value, complexity and point of contact) for the purposes of market research. Brevity of extraneous information is desired.
