Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Delivery Order under our NAVAIR BOA for Phase 2 Software Development tasks to implement any needed AN/APR-39 and AN/AAR-47 OFP changes, provide software for test and evaluation, and support a fleet release. The Contractor shall perform detailed design on all of the Systems Trouble Reports (STR’s), but separate code / unit test and hardware / software integration based on the detailed build descriptions. Implementation of each STR solution is outlined in the Functional Requirements Document (FRD). The Contractor shall use FRD and associated Internal Control Documents (ICD’s) as primary guidance for modifying the APR-39 Operational Flight Program (OFP) to meet the Government requirements. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Corporation Electronic Systems, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the equipment addressed in this synopsis and completed the Phase 1 Requirements Definition during July through December 2008.
