Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Delivery Order under our NAVAIR BOA, N00019-06-G-0014, for Phase 2 Software Development tasks to implement any needed AN/APR-39 and AN/AAR-47 Operational Flight Program (OFP) changes, implementation, validation, and documentation of OFP modifications to the AN/AAR-47 / AN/APR-39 operator interface. The Contractor shall produce, incorporate, and deliver enhancements to the latest released AN/AAR-47 OFP V30.x software. The contractor shall perform a revision to the OFP V30.x software to produce a software version, which includes enhancements to AN/AAR-47 Effectiveness and AN/AAR-47 / AN/APR-39 Operator Interface. The contractor shall define the basic operational requirements and associated acceptance criteria for this revision of the OFP V30.x software, including user interface/display and system behavioral considerations. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to Alliant Techsystems Inc., in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Alliant Techsystems Inc. is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the equipment addressed in this synopsis and completed the Phase 1 Requirements Definition during July through December 2008.
