The U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, intends to award a contract to L-3 Avionics Systems, 5353 52nd St. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49512 for the Electronic Standby Instrument Systems (ESIS). The Government intends to award a 5 year contract, base year and 4 option years, on an other than full and open basis, 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. L3 Communications is the manufacturer of the equipment, which is the only system qualified for the ARSOA aircraft listed below. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A standard commercial warranty shall be provided for each item. The items listed above will be evaluated against other similar commercial products in making the award determination. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is not a small business set aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334511, with a small business size standard of 750 employees.
